Radiation, also commonly referred to as electromagnetic radiation (EMR), electromagnetic chaos (EMC), and electromagnetic frequencies (EMF), is not a simple topic to discuss. Every day, people are subject to some degree of radiation exposure, whether it be from natural sources such as radon, or from unnatural, man-made sources such as medical tests, body scanners, cell phones, and many more technologies. There has been much debate over just how harmful radiation is, but one thing has been made clear through hundreds of studies and years of research – no amount of radiation is, can, or should be deemed “safe”. Can a Vitamin Deficiency Cause Violent Behavior?
Niacin may be the secret treatment for psychological disorders, says Joseph Mercola.
Your gut is quite literally your second brain, with the ability to significantly influence your mind, mood and behavior. Again and again, researchers find that depression and a wide variety of behavioral problems appear to stem from nutritional deficiencies and/or an imbalance of bacteria in your gut.
At this point, there’s simply no denying the powerful influence of the gut on both your physical and mental health. This is great news, since this places you in a distinct position of power over your and your children’s psychological health.
A recent article by the Weston A. Price Foundation,1 titled: “Violent Behavior: A Solution in Plain Sight”, highlighted the impact of nutrition on brain health and behavior, reviewing the importance of a number of dietary factors, such as: Read more

Cholesterol Is Good for You
Cholesterol is good for you, but not too much, so balance yours naturally, says Margaret Durst.
It seems like everyone wants to reduce their cholesterol. There are some great natural ways to do this, but everyone is unique – so what works for one, may not work for another. Cholesterol is necessary for many body functions, meaning that you don’t want to reduce it completely, but you don’t want unhealthy levels either.
If you want to work on the cause, a good place to start is looking at the diet. Eliminate foods full of unhealthy transfatty acids and hydrogenated oils which tend to increase cholesterol. Read more

Oil Pulling for Health
Daniel Gartlan reveals how oil pulling can promote healing and maintain optimal health.
One of my favorite and most simple holistic procedures for keeping optimal health and to allow your body to promote healing is Oil Pulling. Many of you may have heard of this practice and may even have tried it. If not then I hope you will give it a try after reading this blog. Believe me; you have much to gain and nothing to lose by doing so.
Oil pulling is based on an ancient practice from the Ayurvedic medical tradition. Ayurvedic medicine is not an unproven “newbie” in healing traditions. It is possibly the oldest or one of the oldest medical and healing traditions in the world. It has been traced back as far as 5000 years. You could say it is a tried and proven system of health and healing. Much like Traditional Chinese Medicine, it has a long history of successful and verified cases. Read more

Tabata: Is This Workout Worth the Pain?
Tabata, a long-established exercise regimen is gaining in popularity. Jake Wallis Simons went to try it. (The interval is actually 20 seconds with a 10 second rest between, not 40 seconds with 10 seconds rest as the article seems to imply.)
You’ve got to psyche yourself up,” says Richard Scrivener, 31, an implausibly muscular health, fitness and nutrition instructor at a gym in Islington, north London. “You’ve got to give it all you’ve got, push yourself, hammer it. When I fire up the music and we’re pumped up, and I’m screaming at you, the roof will lift off. There’ll be so much energy. You’ll see, it will be great.”
Oh, reader. The things I do for you. Read more

Natural Breast Enlargement: How to Make Fenugreek Massage Oil
Breast massage can help your breasts grow all by itself, but adding herbs to your breast enlargement program may lead to faster and better results. Fenugreek is an inexpensive spice that happens to be one of the best breast enlargement herbs you can find. Fenugreek triggers breast growth in two ways: by mimicking the effects of estrogen and by stimulating the production of prolactin. Both of these hormones are crucial to the development of the breasts. Fenugreek safely and naturally stimulates tissue growth resulting in bigger, firmer, and fuller breasts.
You don't have to just swallow your febugreek though. You can make a fenugreek oil that you can massage into your breasts for even better absorption. That way you can get the benefits of breast massage and fenugreek at the same time! This also helps target the herb to where it's needed most.
To make fenugreek massage oil, you will need:
1) Pour the oil into the large Mason jar. Measure out 1/2 cup of fenugreek seeds.
2) Place the lid on the Mason jar and close it tightly..
3) Set the Mason jar in the middle of the saucepan. Fill the saucepan with water until it is full almost to the brim and set it on one of the burners on the stove.
4) Turn the burner to low-medium heat. Bring the jar to a warm temperature, where it is almost hot, but can still be held in your hand without burning it.
5) Maintain the jar at the low-medium temperature for ten minutes. Take the jar out and place it on a towel-lined surface.
6) Allow the jar to sit for 24 hours. Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5. Let the jar sit for another 24 hours.
7) Place the cheesecloth over a bowl and pour the oil in to it. Remove the cheesecloth and rinse out the fenugreek seeds or discard it.
8) Pour the oil back in to the large Mason jar. Add another 1/2 cup of fenugreek seeds.
9) Repeat the 48-hour process of heating the jar twice and then discard the fenugreek seeds.
10) Pour the oil into the dark glass bottle. Secure the lid firmly on top and store in a cool, dry, dark area for six to twelve months.
For breast massage, doing the 48-hour process twice usually produces a strong enough concentration of herb in the oil, but you can do it as many times as you wish. You can also use other oils, such as almond oil, if you prefer. The same process also works for other breast enlargement herbs, so you can switch herbs if you reach a plateau with fenugreek.
