A Glass of Wine a Day Keeps the Doctor Away

Drinking up to seven glasses of wine a week cuts the risk developing depression by more than a third.

Spanish scientists have found that drinking moderate amounts of alcohol, particularly wine, can be linked with a lower risk of depression.

Natural Breast Enlargement: How to Make Fenugreek Massage Oil

  • Cheesecloth
  • Dark glass bottle
Procedure

1) Pour the oil into the large Mason jar. Measure out 1/2 cup of fenugreek seeds.

2) Place the lid on the Mason jar and close it tightly..

3) Set the Mason jar in the middle of the saucepan. Fill the saucepan with water until it is full almost to the brim and set it on one of the burners on the stove.

4) Turn the burner to low-medium heat. Bring the jar to a warm temperature, where it is almost hot, but can still be held in your hand without burning it.

5) Maintain the jar at the low-medium temperature for ten minutes. Take the jar out and place it on a towel-lined surface.

6) Allow the jar to sit for 24 hours. Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5. Let the jar sit for another 24 hours.

7) Place the cheesecloth over a bowl and pour the oil in to it. Remove the cheesecloth and rinse out the fenugreek seeds or discard it.

8) Pour the oil back in to the large Mason jar. Add another 1/2 cup of fenugreek seeds.

9) Repeat the 48-hour process of heating the jar twice and then discard the fenugreek seeds.

10) Pour the oil into the dark glass bottle. Secure the lid firmly on top and store in a cool, dry, dark area for six to twelve months.

For breast massage, doing the 48-hour process twice usually produces a strong enough concentration of herb in the oil, but you can do it as many times as you wish. You can also use other oils, such as almond oil, if you prefer. The same process also works for other breast enlargement herbs, so you can switch herbs if you reach a plateau with fenugreek.

4 Home Remedies for Bacterial Vaginosis

Bacterial Vaginosis: What Are the Causes?

Is bacterial vaginosis (BV) making your life miserable? You are not alone. About 1 in 3 women have BV at some point in their lives, Having BV does not imply that you are involved in unusual sexual activities or that you are not clean. Any woman is potentially at risk for BV. Women's bodies have to deal with stress, chemical imbalances, and hormonal changes. Giving birth adds additional stress to our bodies and compromises our immune system.

Bacterial vaginosis occurs when there is a change in the natural balance of bacteria in your vagina. Your vagina should contain bacteria called lactobacilli. These bacteria produce lactic acid. This makes the vagina slightly acidic, which prevents other bacteria from growing there. However, if you have BV, you have less lactobacilli, which means your vagina is not as acidic as it should be. This allows other types of bacteria to grow.

It is not clear whether BV is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) as there is conflicting evidence on the issue. Many experts think that sexual activity plays a role in BV, but other factors are probably also responsible for the condition. It may also be possible that an initial episode of BV is caused by some type of sexual infection, but further episodes are caused by other factors.

7 Natural Home Remedies for Yeast Infection

7 Natural Remedies for Severe Acne

Drinking several cups of coffee a day could halve the risk of suicide in men and women, scientists from Harvard suggest

In a study published by the Word Journal of Biological Pyschiatry, researchers analysed the caffeine consumption of more than 200,000 people spanning a period of nearly 20 years.

They found that, for both men and women, those who took in 400mg of the stimulant a day – the equivalent of two to three cups of coffee – were statistically 50 per cent less likely to commit suicide. Read more

Beware of Antiacid Drugs

Prolonged use of antiacid drugs can cause serious health problems, says David Brownstein,

Proton pump inhibiters (PPI’s) are widely prescribed antacid medications. Examples of PPI’s include: Prilosec, Nexium, Prevacid, Aciphex, and Protonix. In fact, in 2009, over 21 million U.S. adults were prescribed a PPI and sales of PPI’s grew to over $13 billion globally. PPI’s work by poisoning the stomach’s proton pump. The end result of PPI use is to inhibit stomach acid secretion.

PPI’s are only indicated for a short time period—generally a few weeks. Prolonged use of PPI’s are associated with a host of serious adverse effects including vitamin B12 deficiency and pernicious anemia, bone fractures, and C. difficile infections. The Ojibwa Medicine Man’s Secret Formula

5 Folk Remedies for Acne

Age old remedies for ailments and skin problems are some of the best treatments at times. They have been passed down from generation to generation for a reason - they work. Remedies for acne can be found among the annals of folk medicine. Although these five folk remedies for acne date back centuries, they really work and have been proven again and again.

1) Aloe

Long valued for its skin healing properties, aloe vera is the soothing gel of a succulent plant. While aloe may not prevent acne from occurring in the first place, it does ease swelling, redness and inflammation and helps heal existing blemishes. Simply rub the gel on the affected area twice a day.

2) Burdock

Burdock tea is one of the oldest folk remedies for acne. Burdock brings blood circulation to the surface of the skin. Increased circulation may help fight the infection and inflammation of acne. Burdock is also one of the folk remedies for acne that contains starch. Starch helps absorb excess oil from the skin. Add one teaspoon of ground, dried burdock root to one cup of boiling water. Allow the mixture to steep for twenty - thirty minutes and then strain. Drink three to four cups daily for one of the best folk remedies for acne.

3) Mung Beans

A Chinese folk remedy for acne is a paste of mung beans applied to the skin. The mung beans are astringent so they draw the excess oil from the skin that causes acne in the first place. This makes mung beans another of the most effective folk remedies for acne. Grind dry mung beans to a powder in a coffee grinder, blender, or food processor. Then mix with warm water to form a paste. Apply to the skin and leave for thirty minutes to several hours. Wipe from the skin using warm water and a soft cloth.

4) Red Clover

Red clover poultices are a popular folk remedy for acne and are still used throughout the United States to treat skin conditions. Red clover thins the oil secretions, making excess oil easier to remove. Cover fresh red clover flowers with water and heat until they are tender. Strain the water from the flowers and press them into a thick mass. Sprinkle the mass with white flour to hold the poultice together. Place the red clover poultice directly on the skin and leave for thirty minutes. The poultice can be used several times per day as one of the mildest folk remedies for acne.

5) Stinging Nettle

Stinging nettle is an old Gypsy folk remedy for acne. It can be taken as a tea and/or applied directly to the affected area. The astringent properties of stinging nettle help reduce excess oil, making it one of the most effective folk remedies for acne. Add one ounce of dried nettle to one quart of boiling water. Allow the mixture to steep overnight. Strain and drink two to three cups per day. Additonally, you can reheat the tea and apply the warm liquid directly to the skin once or twice per day. This is one of the best folk remedies for acne when the two methods are used together.

One thing that you’ll notice when you try folk remedies is that they sometimes take longer to obtain results. You will need to be patient. However, if you continue using the remedy faithfully, you will see the results you're looking for.

The Iodine Deficiency Epidemic

For nearly 100 years, it has been known that insufficient iodine levels can lead to lowered IQ levels in children. Australian researchers studied whether children born to mothers with mild iodine deficiency during pregnancy have poorer educational outcomes in elementary school as compared to peers whose mothers did not have mild gestational iodine deficiency. All of the children grew up in an “iodine-replete environment”—that means they had access to iodized salt and other dietary sources of iodine which are thought to maintain iodine sufficiency. The children were followed for nine years where they were assessed with standardized tests.

We’ve all heard the term pH balance before, but do you know what it actually means? The pH scale is one that measures the acidity or alkalinity of something. In the case of alkaline foods, we are concerned with the pH of your body. Eating certain foods may affect this measurement, which can lead to several potentially negative health effects.

Ph levels are measured on a scale of 0 to 14. 7.0 is considered neutral; 0 is completely acidic, and 14 is completely alkaline. Your blood needs to be slightly alkaline, with a pH somewhere between 7.35 and 7.45. Generally, your body adjusts its pH levels automatically, keeping your blood right within that target area. However, some argue that many of today’s processed and unhealthy foods are acid-forming and throw off that natural balance.

Too much acid, and your body begins to experience some negative health effects including: fatigue, dental issues, compromised immune function, pain and inflammatory conditions, and even premature aging. Walnuts Cut Diabetes Risk by One Quarter

What to Do if Natural Breast Enlargement Has Not Worked

Natural breast enlargement has worked for many thousands of women all over the world. However, despite all of the success stories, some women try natural breast enlargement methods, but don't achieve the results they were looking for. If natural breast enlargement works, why didn't it work for them?

Nothing works for everybody, including surgery or medications. That being said, women who have tried and failed should ask themselves some questions. The answers may give them a clue as to where they may have gone wrong.

Did you follow the instructions?

This can mean a couple of different things. First of all, did you do the methods or techniques correctly? If you don't seem to be getting results, go back and check the instructions to make sure you're following them.

If you're following a program, did you follow the complete program, or did you add or subtract parts of it or mix and match other methods and techniques that you knew about? Did you do enough?

If you are young or have a modest goal of increasing your breasts a cup size, then using one method may be enough. However, if you are older, or you want to increase your breasts more than a cup size, you may need to use more than one method in order to provide enough stimulation for breast growth.

Did you give your program enough time to work?

Natural breast enlargement has advantages over breast augmentation surgery, but instant results isn't one of them. Natural breast enlargement is safe, cheap, and effective, but it takes some time and effort. Inconsistency in following your program or quitting because you haven't improved a condition you've had for years in a month or two is a major cause of failure.

Did you follow a healthy lifestyle?

You cannot expect your body to do something extraordinary, such as grow bigger breasts, if you're abusing it. It's less about becoming a diet or exercise fantatic than it's about avoiding junk food, smoking, excessive drinking, or other bad habits. If your lifestyle hurts your body, it may not be able to use natural breast enlargement herbs or breast massage to grow bigger breasts. Take care of your body, and it will take care of you.

What if you discover that you made one or more of the above mistakes? You could just give up and resign yourself to having small breasts the rest of your life, or go under the surgeon's knife. However, a better choice would be to correct your mistakes and start over. As the saying goes, if at first you don't succeed, try, try again.

I don't want to follow one (or more) of your recommendations because they are too inconvenient (or time-consuming, expensive, etc.). Can I do something different and get the same results as I would if I followed your recommendations?

I don't know. Maybe, maybe not.

My bust size is _____. How long will it take to increase to specific bust size?

I don't know. Every woman is different. Many women notice visible results within a month, but to reach your goal may take several months.

Will my results be permanent?

The longer your breasts remain at their new size, the more likely they will stay that size. That means do not completely stop your natural breast enlargement program as soon as you reach your goal. You can reduce the amount of breast massage or herbs or switch herbs, but don't stop completely for several months at least. Even then, I would recommend doing breast massage regularly since it's good for you anyway. Also, if you used breast enlargement hypnosis CDs as part of your program, your results are more likely to stay permanently because your subconscious mind has been reprogrammed.

Do I have to use the massage oil recommended in your article Increase a Cup Size in 30 Days with Breast Massage?

No, you can use any oil or lotion. The primary purpose of the oil or lotion is to make the hands move more smoothly over the breasts.

My breasts are sore after doing breast massage. Is that a sign that they're growing?

No, it's a sign that you're massaging too hard. Your breasts will move when you massage, but breast massage shouldn't hurt either during or after.

Am I too old for natural breast enlargement?

You can improve at any age although as you get older, results may be slower.

Am I too young for natural breast enlargement?

Breast massage is healthful for any age. However, I wouldn't recommend adding herbs until you're old enough to be certain that your natural breast development is finished. Why use something you may not need?

Will a specific product work to enlarge my breasts?

I don't know. Maybe, maybe not. I recommend breast-enlarging herbs so that you know exactly what you're taking and how much.
